My thoughts;

This has become a great resource for family devotion. My kids love to read the stories, especially at bed time.
The language is simple to read and to understand. It also brings a modern touch to some of the stories in the Bible.
If you love reading the Bible but sometimes find it difficult to relate what you read with the times we are in, then you may consider having a copy of this heirloom edition.
